Tours and gallery programs offer a range of opportunities for visitors to experience and share ideas about works of art and the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright building in group or individualized settings. All tours and gallery programs are facilitated by rigorously trained and highly knowledgeable Guggenheim educators. Private group tours are led by arts professionals with specialized knowledge of the Guggenheim’s permanent collection, special exhibitions, and architecture. They can be held using a variety of languages and techniques, including ASL and verbal imaging.
The Guggenheim Museum strives to create an inclusive environment for all visitors and staff members are always available to answer visitor questions about accessibility.
Posted throughout the museum, Gallery Guides offer visitors a singular opportunity to explore art through one-on-one conversation.
Multimedia guides on the Guggenheim’s interactive app explore special exhibitions and the permanent collection as well as the architecture of the museum’s landmark building. The app is offered free for use on provided devices with museum admission or may be downloaded free to your own smartphone for use inside the museum and at home. Please note that no devices will be distributed after 5:15 pm.
