On-site Education

The museum’s Sackler Center for Arts Education is a dynamic learning laboratory where adults, youths, families, and educators can expand their understanding of the museum's collections and exhibitions through programs in the visual, literary, and performing arts; engagement with artists; and the creative integration of educational technology. Educational Outreach

Learning Through Art (LTA) is a museum-sponsored program that benefits both teachers and students by placing experienced teaching artists in New York City public schools where they collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and lead art projects that support the school curriculum. Visits to the museum and interaction with artists provide teachers with new teaching strategies and challenges students to engage and think critically about art and ideas. More
