Our curatorial team includes many of the most influential scholars in the international art world.
The Young Collectors Council (YCC) is a leadership group at the Guggenheim Museum for professionals ages 21 to 40. Funds raised through membership help to support the acquisition of works by emerging and younger artists for the museum's permanent collection. Members also participate in monthly programs designed to enhance an appreciation for contemporary art. Programs include visits to artists' studios and private and corporate art collections, as well as curator-led exhibition and gallery tours. Guggenheim curators meet with the Acquisition Committee of the Young Collectors Council twice a year to propose works for purchase. The committee then votes to decide which works to acquire. Over 30 works have entered the museum's permanent collection through the Young Collectors Council Acquisition Fund.
