MEDIA ALERT: GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM AND BMW GUGGENHEIM LAB CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

In light of the impending storm and the announcements by New York City and State officials, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum will be closed Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28, 2011. As of now, the Guggenheim Museum plans to open for operation on Monday, August 29 at 10 am.

The BMW Guggenheim Lab, located on Houston at 2nd Avenue, also will be closed on these dates, and will resume normal operations on Wednesday, August 31 at 1 pm.

Please check our website at guggenheim.org for any further announcements regarding changes in operating hours for the museum due to the weather conditions and bmwguggenheimlab.org for information about our satellite location activities.
