Conservator Announced for the Panza Conservation Initiative
This summer, the Guggenheim Foundation named Francesca Esmay as Conservator for the Panza Collection Initiative. Made possible by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the initiative will allow the Guggenheim to undertake a comprehensive evaluation of the collection, focusing initially on the work of Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, Bruce Nauman, and Lawrence Weiner.

Free Admission for Active-Duty Personnel
The Guggenheim has joined with Blue Star Museums, a nation-wide program that includes 700 museums in all 50 states in the U.S., offering free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day, May 31, 2010 through Labor Day, September 6, 2010.
