David van der Leer has joined the Guggenheim as the museum’s new Assistant Curator of Architecture and Design. His initial focus will be organizing the Frank Lloyd Wright anniversary exhibition set to open in May 2009.
Surrounded by soaring views in a raw industrial space atop 7 World Trade Center, over 500 guests celebrated the fourth Guggenheim International Gala on Monday, November 10, raising over $2.3 million for the museum.
