Guggenheim Offers Free Admission to Military Personnel

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York

This year, the Guggenheim will again participate with Blue Star Museums, a nationwide program that includes over 2,000 museums across America, and offer free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day, May 27, 2013, through Labor Day, September 2, 2013.

Free admission is available to active-duty military personnel, including active-duty Reserve and National Guard, and up to five family members.

First launched in the summer of 2010, Blue Star Museums is a partnership between Blue Star Families, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 U.S. museums. For more information, and to find out which other museums are participating in the program, visit the Blue Star website.
