For the third consecutive year, the Guggenheim has joined with Blue Star Museums, a nationwide program that includes over 1,500 U.S. museums, to offer free admission for active-duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day, May 28, 2012, through Labor Day, September 3, 2012. Free admission will be available to active-duty military, including Reserve and National Guard, and up to five family members. First launched in the summer of 2010, Blue Star Museums is a partnership between Blue Star Families, a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit network of military families, and the National Endowment for the Arts. For more information, and to find out which other museums are participating in the program, visit the Blue Star website.
