If you happened to miss the recent exhibition theanyspacewhatever, which featured a group of artists that emerged during the early 1990s and who share certain strategies and sensibilities, catch a glimpse of it this Friday, Jan. 9, on the series finale of Lipstick Jungle. Airing at 9 p.m. EST, the Guggenheim scene features Joe, played by Andrew McCarthy, walking his girlfriend’s parents through the museum on a private tour, admiring works by Angela Bulloch, Maurizio Cattelan, Liam Gillick, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Douglas Gordon, Carsten Höller, Pierre Huyghe, Jorge Pardo, Philippe Parreno, and Rirkrit Tiravanija.
Based on the book by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell, Lipstick Jungle stars Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, and Lindsay Price playing high-powered Manhattanites dealing with shaky relationships and the challenges of success.
