This artist-in-residence shelter lay on the newly “Promenade Samuel-de-Champlain” on the shore of St. Lawrence River, Quebec city. Living/studying quarters are adjacent to an atelier space. By lining-up is four fr ames, the shelter became a place of art exhibition. A roll-in device is used to store artworks as well as translucent fabrics that close the open sides of the shelter. Design and material are inspired by the surrounding park furniture.
