The Dewdrop designed on seaside Basalt formations in Northern Ireland aims at an architecture shaped by sun and wind, preserving the columnar topography for defining spaces. Carved in steel, glass and breathing tarpaulin, the design achieves play of sunlight and views without conventional elements. The slits and collapsible roof are engineered to regulate SW wind and light supported by steel core at center which rotates to serve as required furniture.
