Because of the nature of the location – both social and environmental - the structure can be easily assembled, disassembled, and transported. The structure incorporates a wood frame, aluminum roof, walls fabricated from woven reeds/twigs, and a canvas canopy for outdoor protection. For easy use, hardware-free joinery is employed. Mesh windows/doors, which can be covered, are positioned to allow light and air flow through the space, while protecting against insects.
