Designed by Luciano Tessi
Designed by Luciano Tessi
From: San Luis, Argentina
Shelter location: Argentina
Date accepted: August 25, 2009
Located in Patagonia's desert, the shelter is inspired by natives huts, that were built from leather. Leather's shape creates the gallery, a transition space cool and breezy, adapted to the ground's irregular topography, linking architecture to landscape. The lateral surroundings protects the shelter of the extreme climate conditions. The space is designed to minimize energetic lost from the interior. South facade is closed, due to local predominant strong winds.
