Located near a dry riverbed this shelter has the bed sunken into the earth for geothermal cooling. Using a natural filtration technique for survival, a water storage tank is placed where dirty water and even urine can be held. The sun will evaporate and drip clean water into the basin, running into the shelter. The roof has rubber windows which rolled up in the heat and tightened down during a dust storm.
