Sitting below Auckland’s Harbour Bridge (and near the city’s port), this crate-like shelter shuts itself, its cedar battens weathered by the elements. Entering through a pivot door reveals a carefully crafted desk and bench, and a bed with a window that opens into a sun-shade and shelf. A glazed skylight floods the space with sun. The eastern wall opens into a canopy and deck, where the bench can be moved.
