The shelter situates in the boundary of the green, forested area and the built-up setting, as a threshold to the two contrasting environments which unify yet distinguish them. Users can experience the playful quality of nature by the shelter’s wild façade with the swinging seat. The constricted feelings usually felt in a densely built-up city were portrayed on the other side, using concrete for a private, fortress-like space.
