Fortitude valley is a combination of high-end and low-end of fashion, economic standing, culture and people. Sweet & Sour attempts to balance the idea of sleep and study along with utilising strong materials and reflected light as a single unified form. Raised off the ground for security and entered via a pulley lift system, it addresses the backstreets of Brisbane’s premier night spots as a symbol of urban camouflage.
