This shelter is located on the island beach of Surigao, Dinagat Island, Philippines. Made of indigenous bamboo materials, this shelter sits elevated on four sturdy posts where access is through a bamboo ladder. Openings are on all sides to achieve natural light and cross ventilation. The side walls are slanted outward and raise up to form the roof system echoing the exciting atmosphere of the environment.
