Guggenheim

Located in Phoenix, Arizona the orientation and build of the shelter are designed to maximize shading and ventilation in the extremely hot, dry summer months. The use of moveable walls is the focal point of the design, to increase exposure and direct cool summer prevailing winds from the south into the sheltered space. Proper placement of overhangs, fences, and light mass material with reflective properties decrease solar radiation.
