This shelter is located off the coast of Stimpsons island in Maine. It is meant to be used as a summer studio, the workspace can be opened or closed to accommodate the constantly changing environment. It is the first in a series of shelters using shipping containers as a primary building material. My goal was to take manmade objects and reincorporate them into a natural setting.
