This shelter was inspired by the flow of the Danube River. Its location is a unique ecosystem: the Danube delta. In such a wonderful place it’s not hard to envision a small retreat for study and meditation. The shelter that I imagined is a floating device so that its impact on the predominantly aquatic environment is minimal. The use of wood makes it lightweight.
