The shelter is located on military fortifications built in 17th century in Gdansk. Placed on the ground, from its northern side is partly buried. It provides a space to sleep and study. Its pentagonal design was inspired by the shape of bastion on which it stands. The aim was to create a safe place for its inhabitants, with reference to earlier function of the stronghold.
