The shelter is for explorers of Dartmoor Park in Devon, UK. Every year some walkers fall foul to extreme weather that occurs. The hut includes a fireplace and is logged with the national Dartmoor rescue services. The materials are local oak, and stone, keeping with the construction materials in the region. The hut is able to accommodate a party of 5 and is designed to survive decay.
