House in 'Isla de Mona' [ Mona Island ]
Designed by Antonio Gomez
Designed by Antonio Gomez
From: Trujillo Alto, United States
Shelter location: United States
Date accepted: August 26, 2009
The materials and the modulation come from recycled parts of wreckage ships and trash left at the beach. This modifiable prism responds to the activities of the user and the irregular climate conditions on site. The holes in the walls, the slits, the strips of light, facilitate a space for seeing in every direction; like a tower can be seen in uninhabited territory.
