From its unique exterior to the works of art within, the Guggenheim Museum is a place that has always inspired, encouraged, and informed audiences of all ages. From the Learning Through Art program, which brings New York City public-school teachers and professional artists together to give students grades 3–5 unique, in-depth, and engaging experiences with art, to the Sackler Center for Arts Education, the Guggenheim's hub of arts learning and technology, our programs involve gallery explorations and process-oriented art projects that promote critical thinking and creativity, and enable students to become active participants in the process of looking at and creating art.
