Visit any time with your family and enjoy our treasure chest of activities!
Guided family programs are taught
by Guggenheim educators trained in teaching intergenerational groups.
Programs are generally intended for kids ages 5–10 unless otherwise
noted. Both adults and kids are encouraged to participate and share an
exploration of art and culture.
Family
programs encourage intergenerational participation and opportunities to
get closer to both works of art and your family members.

Every Sunday, the Guggenheim offers fun and interactive programs for your family to join!

Summer Sundays
10:30 am–12 pm
Join us every month for family-oriented tours that incorporate age-appropriate conversations and creative, hands-on gallery activities and opportunities to explore our permanent collections and special exhibitions together.
For families with children ages 5–10. $15 per family, $10 members, FREE for Family Members. Space is limited. Registration recommended.
July 18: A Time to RememberHave you ever looked at a photograph or a video that reminded you of a special event, gathering, or place? Many artists take photographs and videos in order to explore the idea of memory. Come on a journey down memory lane.
July 25: Stories in Art
A picture is worth a thousand words! Let’s look at how artists use photography and video to tell stories. Be inspired to tell your own stories through writing and drawing activities.
August 1: Making Memories

Just Drop In!
Sundays, 1–4 pm
Do you like exploring? So does artist Julie Mehretu. Come join us on an exploration of the mysterious urban landscapes in Grey Area. Go on a creative journey as you investigate new and familiar ways to imagine and draw space. Join museum educators as they lead a variety of creative, interactive projects.
