Guggenheim

Tour & Workshop

Students creating paintings

During this interactive 2.5-hour program, students explore various aspects of the Guggenheim's permanent collection and special exhibitions, and engage in discussions as well as activities involving writing, drawing, or movement in response to works on view. Following the thematic gallery tour, students participate in a related studio experience where they create their own works of art in our digital or studio art labs.

All programs can be adapted to support specific curriculum areas as well as to accommodate students with special needs.

Program offerings include: Architecture, Permanent Collection Highlights, and current special exhibitions.

Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10 am–12:30 pm.
