Tuesdays, March 6, 20, 27, April 3, 24 & May 1, 4:30–6:30 pm
Learn about art making and interdisciplinary methods proven to improve key areas of students’ creative problem-solving skills. Explore strategies developed by Learning Through Art’s teaching artists that focus on generating multiple ideas, flexibility, and an increased understanding of materials. The workshop will include investigations of art from the Guggenheim collection, demonstrations of methods used to foster and assess creativity and related skills, and guidance in the development of lesson plans related to curriculum goals.Teachers of grades 2–12 in all subject areas are invited to apply. $350 includes all sessions and resource materials. Limited scholarships are available. The application deadline is Feb 20. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants. For information call 212 423 3561.

Who Is Eligible
Teachers in grades 2–12 for all subject areas are welcome to apply. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants, and we accept applications until the class is full.
Tuition

The Education Department offers year-round opportunities for educators in all curriculum areas to learn creative strategies for incorporating the visual arts into their practice. For maximum flexibility, workshops are offered with full-day, half-day, after-school, and weekend options and can be customized to meet the needs and interests of your group.
