    Artist Khadim Ali leads a program combining storytelling and art making using the one-thousand year old Persian epic, the Shahnameh (“Book of kings”), to tell tales of contemporary culture and politics. Join us for this unique workshop that provides multiple suggestions and ideas for teaching and learning in the classroom. FREE (includes curriculum materials). Registration required. Teaching for Creativity: An Institute for Educators

This institute, which took place July 11–15, 2011, highlighted and built upon the findings of The Art of Problem Solving, and teams of art and non-art educators attended hands-on workshops, gallery inquiries, and presentations by renowned experts on creativity and education.

Speakers included: Jenny Bevill, Ingrid Butterer, Edward P. Clapp, Marit Dewhurst, Rosanna Flouty, Emily Gibson, Ardina Greco, Michelle Hagewood, Jeff Hopkins, Greer Kudon, Alyson Shotz, and Shari Tishman.
