Inpainting Workshop

In October 2007, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum's conservation department hosted and sponsored an intensive, mid-career master class entitled "Mastering Inpainting," with financial support from the American Institute for Conservation. Instructor James Bernstein is an internationally renowned conservator who has conducted courses around the world on the complex subject of compensation for losses on art works. The attendees of the workshop included Guggenheim conservators and conservators from other museums and private conservation labs in the New York area.
