Programs for children at the Guggenheim are developed to encourage a deep connection to works of art and artistic expression. Programs are taught by artists and museum educators who use a wide range of mediums in order to allow experimentation and foster creativity. All programs for kids are designed for ages 8–11 years old.

Does your child love to explore and create art? Then sign up for our exciting after-school program! Your child can experience the museum's spectacular Frank Lloyd Wright–designed architecture and permanent collection as well as our special spring exhibition. Each session's gallery visit serves as inspiration for in-depth art projects in the studio. Your child will learn about a wide range of techniques, including painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, collage, and photography. The program concludes with a mini-exhibition for family and friends.
Fee: $300 ($250 for members), which includes all art materials, snacks, a family pass, and photos documenting the program.

In this exciting, two-day vacation camp, your kids will focus on building and improving their creative skills with our teaching artists through gallery and studio explorations. In the galleries, they will explore works of art in our permanent collection and special exhibition. In our studio, they will experience new approaches and techniques while developing a personal artistic style through a variety of mediums.
Fee: $200 ($150 for members), which includes all art materials, snacks, a family pass, and photos documenting the program.

This five-day creative camp will spark your child's imagination and foster his or her critical-thinking skills while exploring the museum's Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and special exhibition. Led by museum educators, each session includes guided gallery explorations followed by hands-on workshops where participants create their own works of art. Various mediums and methods, including painting, sculpture, collage, and digital media in individual and collaborative projects, are carefully designed to provide age-appropriate projects.
Fee: $500 ($400 for members), which includes all art materials, snacks, a family pass, and photos documenting the program.

Want to inspire your children’s creativity? Sign them up for Summerscapes, our stimulating, museum educator–led mini-camps. Each of the five-day sessions begins with an exploration of our Frank Lloyd Wright building, permanent collection, and special exhibitions. Then it’s back to the art studio for hands-on projects that are carefully designed to ensure successful outcomes no matter what your child’s age. Your child will have the chance to work on individual and collaborative projects and to experiment with everything from painting and sculpture to printmaking and collage. Summerscapes concludes with a mini exhibition so children can share their creations with family and friends.
Fee: $500 per week, $900 two weeks ($400/$700 for members). Limit is two weeks per child. Includes all art materials, snacks, a family pass, and photos documenting the program.
