Join us for family-oriented tours incorporating creative hands-on gallery activities.

Family Programs at the Guggenheim provide child-centered opportunities for intergenerational exploration.
All our programs are inquiry-based in approach, aimed at empowering parents and children in their art explorations and fostering creativity, curiosity, critical thinking and conversation.

Gutai Artist–Led Family Tour and Workshop
For families with children ages 4–12. Gutai artists Matsutani Takesada and Horio Sadaharu engage families in creating Gutai-inspired art. Visit the galleries and participate in an art-making workshop that embraces Gutai’s participatory and experimental spirit.
$30 per family, $20 members, FREE for Family Members. Includes materials.

Artist-Led Family Tour And Workshop
For families with children ages 5–12. In a program combining storytelling and art making, artist Khadim Ali retells ancient stories that he learned as a young child from his grandfather and inspires families to create their own responses to the dramatic tales. FREE. Includes materials.

Stroll
around the ramps with your baby in tow as museum educator and new mom
Jackie Delamatre leads an engaging one-hour tour for caregivers and
their babies. Expect songs, touchable objects, and great adult
conversation.
Single strollers and front baby carriers only.
$15 (includes museum admission), FREE for Family and Kids Club Members.
