Major Acquisition > Katherine S. Dreier Bequest
In 1953 the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation received a small but important bequest by one of 20th-century art's most influential figures, Katherine S. Dreier (1877–1952), the founder, along with Marcel Duchamp and Man Ray, of the Société Anonyme.
