As a closing event to Detour, a traveling exhibition documenting notable architecture and design along 18 Norwegian national tourist routes, this symposium features an afternoon panel with architects and artists from Europe and the United States on the potential of artistic interventions in both rural and urban settings. A reception follows the afternoon panel, and the symposium concludes with a keynote lecture by Peter Zumthor.
