Your First Artist Portfolio
Led by a Guggenheim teaching artist, this eight-session intensive program meets on Mondays beginning September 29 and provides tweens who are preparing to apply to specialized arts high schools with a creative and supportive artistic environment for portfolio preparation. Students will hone their skills, work with a wide range of media, and develop a portfolio of personal work. The majority of time will be spent working with materials in the museum's studio, with occasional visits to the Guggenheim's galleries for additional inspiration.
Application deadline is September 25.
Fee: $400 ($350 members), which includes all art materials, snacks, and a family pass. For information or to register, call 212 423 3637.
