Summerscapes Art Camp

Monday, August 4, 2014, 9:30 am–4 pm

Want to inspire your children’s creativity? Sign them up for Summerscapes, our stimulating, museum educator–led mini-camps. Each of the five-day sessions begins with an exploration of our Frank Lloyd Wright building, permanent collection, and special exhibitions. Then it’s back to the art studio for hands-on projects that are carefully designed to accommodate students of all artistic abilities. Your child will have the chance to work on individual and collaborative projects and to experiment with everything from painting and sculpture to printmaking and collage. Summerscapes concludes with a mini exhibition so children can share their creations with family and friends.

Students must be ages 8-11 to participate.

Fee: $500 per week, $900 two weeks ($400/$700 for members). Includes all art materials, snacks, a family pass, and photos documenting the program. For more information, call 212 423 3637 or e-mail spospiech@guggenheim.org.

Limit is two weeks per child.
