American Ballet Theatre: Revivals
Join ABT dancers and panelists for an evening of dance and discussion exploring two major revivals—Michel Fokine’s Les Sylphides (1940) and Twyla Tharp’s Bach Partita (1983)—prior to ABT’s return to the David H. Koch Theater (formerly the New York State Theater) for the first time in 35 years. John Meehan, Professor of Dance at Vassar College, moderates the conversation.
This event is sold out. On the Friday before the program, please call the box office at 212 423 3587 to see if seats have been released and if standby will be available. Standby numbers are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning one hour before the start of this performance. Each person is given one number (good for one ticket), and may hold a number for one other person. After ticket-holders have been seated, numbers will be called in order and standby tickets will be sold as space allows.
The October 20 performance will be broadcast live at guggenheim.org/live.
