The Metropolitan Opera: Two Boys
Composer Nico Muhly and Met Opera stars preview Two Boys prior to its U.S. premiere. The opera explores the shadowy world of the Internet as a detective investigates the stabbing of one teenage boy by another and discovers a tangled web of online intrigue. Met General Manager Peter Gelb moderates a discussion with Muhly, director Bartlett Sher, and conductor David Robertson. Met stars Alice Coote, Paul Appleby, and Sandra Piques Eddy perform excerpts from the opera.
This event is sold out. On the Friday before the program, please call the box office at 212 423 3587 to see if seats have been released and if standby will be available. Standby numbers are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning one hour before the start of this performance. Each person is given one number (good for one ticket), and may hold a number for one other person. After ticket-holders have been seated, numbers will be called in order and standby tickets will be sold as space allows.
