Juilliard Dance: Wind von West
Juilliard Dance performs excerpts from the 1975 Pina Bausch work Wind von West prior to its U.S. premiere as part of an international collaboration honoring the 40th anniversary of Bausch’s company, Tanztheater Wuppertal. Original Bausch dancers Jo Ann Endicott, Mari DiLena, and John Giffin discuss the project’s revival and other seminal Bausch works with Juilliard’s Lawrence Rhodes and dance critic and historian Deborah Jowitt.
This Works & Process program is made possible with the assistance of Adam and Alexa Wolman.
