Columbia University Professor Charles Zuker: "Food, Taste, and the Brain"
$35, $30 members
Box Office: 212 423 3587
Doors open one hour prior to events and stand-by numbers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person is given one number (good for one ticket), and may hold a number for one other person. After ticket-holders have been seated, numbers will be called in order and stand-by tickets will be sold as space allows.
Join Columbia University Professor Charles Zuker for a lecture exploring how taste is detected by the tongue and decoded by the brain to create an internal representation of the outside world. Learn how our sense of taste is a specialized chemosensory system that evaluates food and drink.
You are invited to a private viewing of the Picasso Black and White exhibition following the lecture, until 10 pm.
