Teaching Artist, Learning Through Art
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Teaching Artist for the Learning Through Art (LTA) program for the 2014-2015 school year (September-June). LTA sends teaching artists into New York City public elementary schools, where they collaborate with classroom teachers to lead art experiences related to the school curriculum.
Temporary Exhibition Design Coordinator
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a temporary Exhibition Design Coordinator. As a member of the Exhibition Design Department, the Exhibition Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting senior staff with the architectural design, production, and coordination tasks related to the design and installation of exhibitions in the Guggenheim Museum network. It is expected that this position will last from early August 2014 through early January 2015.
TEMPORARY TECHNICIAN, MEDIA ARTS
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a part-time technician who specializes in the installation of artworks that employ video, audio, film, computers and all other types of electronic media. This position will require concentrated periods of work during exhibition changeovers and intermittent temporary work during exhibitions. This position will report to the Head of Media Arts.
Seasonal Sales Associates
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is seeking Seasonal Sales Associates. The Seasonal Sales Associate position is responsible for providing all guests of the Museum Store with exceptional customer service, while adhering to policies and procedures in order to maximize sales and ensure quality experiences for visitors. Full-time employees are needed for this position who can work through the holiday season.
