Assistant or Associate General Counsel

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an Assistant or Associate General Counsel. The Assistant of Associate General Counsel will report to the Deputy Director, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary and will be a member of a small in-house legal team. Candidates should be able to work independently or with limited supervision in a variety of subject areas, including non-profit governance, contract, trademark, copyright, employment, tax, sponsorship and charitable contribution and real estate law.

Associate Curator, Asian Art

Associate Editor

As a member of the Publishing and Digital Media Department, the primary responsibility of the Associate Editor is to be the project editor for a minimum of 2-3 exhibitions per year, including catalogues and all related exhibition texts, digital media content and assisting with the editing of at least 2 additional exhibitions per year. The Associate Editor is also responsible for any miscellaneous text editing for the department as determined by the Managing Editor.

Curator of Education and Community Outreach, Abu Dhabi Project

As a senior member of the Abu Dhabi Project team, the Curator of Education and Community Outreach will work in close alignment with the SRGF Education, Curatorial and Senior representative in Abu Dhabi and the Education and Project Management Units of the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority and others as appropriate to research, develop, and pilot/implement audience and education strategies and programs and to support in preparation for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum’s opening in 2017 and beyond.

Digital Media Manager

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Digital Media Manager. As a member of the Publishing and Digital Media Department, the Digital Media Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of multimedia tours and app development in support of the Museum’s collection, building, exhibitions, programs, and related activities. This position is also responsible for leading discussions with internal staff on the conceptualization, specification, and delivery of both visitor-facing digital initiatives such as mobile tours as well as single apps based on the collection, the museum building, or other programmatic initiatives. Under the leadership of the Director of Publishing and Digital Media, the Digital Media Manager will direct content development for all tours and apps. Additionally, this position will be responsible for managing all project deliverables with external vendors, from wireframing and design to final QA as well as internal oversight of digital media deliverables for apps including but not limited to text, video, audio, and slideshows.

Education Manager, Digital Media & Online Learning

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an Education Manager, Digital Media & Online Learning. As a member of the Education Department, and in collaboration with the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative staff, the Education Manager, Digital Media & Online Learning is responsible for conceptualizing, managing and evaluating learning initiatives that will promote and sustain meaningful audience engagement and expansion worldwide through the Guggenheim website, social networks and other digital/mobile technologies. The Education Manager will work with staff, curators and contributors from each region to identify and create content to engage various local online audiences.
