Administrative Coordinator for the Education Department
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for the Education Department. Reporting to the Deputy Director and Gail Engelberg Director of Education the Administrative Coordinator, Education is responsible for providing administrative support for the Department’s Executive Administration and coordinating department-wide needs related to programming, finance/budgets, development/board, the Sackler Center for Arts Education facilities and other project initiatives as designated.
Assistant Theater Manager
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an Assistant Theater Manager. As a member of the Theater and Live Media Services Department, the Assistant Theater Manager is responsible for working closely with the Director of Theater and Media Services in all theater operations.
Associate Curator, Abu Dhabi Project
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation (SRGF) is seeking an Associate Curator. As a member of the Abu Dhabi Project team, the Associate Curator will report to the Deputy Director and Chief Curator, SRGF and the Deputy Director and Chief Officer for Global Strategies, SRGF. The Associate Curator will work in close association with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum’s senior curatorial staff and the staff of TCA (Tourism and Culture Authority) in Abu Dhabi to develop an ambitious international program of pre-opening exhibitions, public programs, focus groups, publications and commissions. The Associate Curator will also participate in acquisition strategy discussions and form part of the Abu Dhabi Project Curatorial Working Group in making acquisition recommendations.
Associate Managing Editor
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an Associate Managing Editor. As a member of the Publishing and Digital Media Department, the Associate Managing Editor will create all publication and multimedia text schedules, including those for the Collection Online. The Associate Managing Editor is responsible for overseeing the assignment of editors to review exhibition-related materials, education content, miscellaneous ephemera and multimedia content as well as manage freelance contractors for writing, editing, translation and proofreading tasks related to these materials. The person in the role will also perform general publishing tasks for the department, including editorial content updates in content management systems and general administrative duties.
Associate Web Developer
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation (SRGF) is seeking an Associate Web Developer who will work under the supervision of the Interactive Project Manager to maintain, extend, and enhance the museum Web site, through both adding functionality and optimizing existing code. The Associate Web Developer will collaborate with internal and external Developers to ensure consistency and best practices. This position works on multiple projects concurrently, ranging from maintenance to new functionality, and enjoys collaborating with other roles within the department and with non-Interactive department users. Also works closely with Information Technology staff to identify server and software needs and ensure the integrity of enterprise systems data displayed on the site. The ideal candidate for this position thrives on a sense of ownership and takes pride in producing simple, elegant, and compliant solutions from definition through QA.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an experienced attorney who will report directly to the Deputy Director, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary and will be a member of a small inhouse legal team. Candidates should be able to work independently or with limited supervision in a variety of subject areas, including nonprofit governance, contract, trademark, copyright, employment, tax, sponsorship, charitable contribution, trusts and estates and real estate law. Level and title of position will be commensurate with experience.
Curator of Education and Community Outreach, Abu Dhabi Project
As a senior member of the Abu Dhabi Project team, the
Curator of Education and Community Outreach will work in close alignment with the SRGF
Education, Curatorial and Senior representative in Abu Dhabi and the Education and Project
Management Units of the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority and others as appropriate to
research, develop, and pilot/implement audience and education strategies and programs and to
support in preparation for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum’s opening in 2017 and beyond.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Curatorial Assistant to the Deputy Director and Jennifer and David Stockman Chief Curator. As a member of the Curatorial Department, the Curatorial Assistant will assist with research for upcoming exhibitions on Fischli/Weiss and Postminimalism and will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of records, databases, and files related to the exhibitions.
Director of Institutional Development
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation (SRGF) is seeking a Director of Institutional Development. The Director of Institutional Development will report to the Deputy Director, Corporate and Institutional Development, and is responsible for developing and managing a strategic plan for soliciting support from foundations, government agencies and elected officials for exhibitions, educational programming, general operations and capital projects at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and other selected programs at the museum’s international partners and affiliates.
Education Manager, Digital Media & Online Learning
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking an Education Manager, Digital Media & Online Learning. As a member of the Education Department, and in collaboration with the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative staff, the Education Manager, Digital Media & Online Learning is responsible for conceptualizing, managing and evaluating learning initiatives that will promote and sustain meaningful audience engagement and expansion worldwide through the Guggenheim website, social networks and other digital/mobile technologies. The Education Manager will work with staff, curators and contributors from each region to identify and create content to engage various local online audiences.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. As a member of the Facilities Department, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the routine maintenance of all Museum locations which includes upkeep of building, plumbing, painting, and other tasks while additionally moving furniture and equipment to support departmental and occupancy changes.

Web Development Manager
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Web Development Manager. As a member of
the Interactive Department, the Web Development Manager is responsible for maintaining,

code. Reporting to the Director, Interactive, the Web Development Manager will manage internal
