Please note: All ramps and additional galleries of the museum are currently closed due to the installation of John Chamberlain: Choices, opening on February 24. The admission price is reduced at this time, and advance tickets are not available.

Associate Director, Communications

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation (SRGF) is seeking an Associate Director, Communications. In collaboration with the Deputy Director and Chief of Global Communications, the position will take a lead role in project management of a new international project with a significant focus on External Affairs communications responsibilities. The Associate Director will collaborate on the planning, development, implementation and project-manage the communications efforts for the project, across a global scope. The Associate Director has significant responsibility for ensuring Foundation communications standards, the implementation of the project identity/branding process, and the growth of new digital media opportunity. The Associate Director is responsible for select content for a variety of communications channels including the staff intranet and Guggenheim.org, and any video channels that are appropriate to the project. This position has strategic planning responsibilities relating to social media channels, in particular the Guggenheim YouTube channel and coordination with the digital communications team (social media, web, video production, etc) specifically related to this project. Inter- and cross-departmental collaboration, and external relationship management with vendors and contracted agencies, communications counterparts at the network museums, and corporate partners around the world is integral to the Associate Director’s role.

Facilities Project Manager/Technical Quality Assurance

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is seeking a Facilities Project Manager with extensive technical experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Building Management Systems. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Project Manager will perform an important function by acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan, within strict timelines and within budget. The Project Manager will also help define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Guggenheim Foundation (SRGF) is seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager, BMW Guggenheim Lab (BGL) who will be responsible for leading all digital production for the BGL project, including video, websites, blogs, audio, touch-screen, mobile, and application development. Additionally, this position is responsible for synthesizing multiple viewpoints to lead definition of website content strategy. The Senior Digital Project Manager will be responsible for managing schedules, tasks, deliverables, and reviews for multiple parties internal to and external to the Guggenheim, and ensuring that projects remain on track to meet strategic objectives and metrics.
