The Guggenheim licenses images of art from its collections, including installation views of exhibitions, architectural views of buildings, and historical material.
Images of Work in the Collection
Licensing of images of work in Guggenheim collections is managed by Art Resource. Please visit their site to request images and inquire about fees. If there is no image online of the collection work you are looking for, write firstname.lastname@example.org to request that it be photographed. New photography requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Upon approval, additional fees will apply.

Scholarly Publishing Image Requests
Through the Images for Academic Publishing (IAP) program hosted by ARTstor Digital Library, the Guggenheim provides a selection of publication-quality images free of charge for scholarly publications. Under a limited license, these images may be in journal articles, small print-run publications (up to 2000 copies), electronic reference materials, and classroom materials. Scholars at participating ARTstor institutions can access the images through the ARTstor Digital Library. Scholars not affiliated with an ARTstor subscribing institution can request temporary access to the collection by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
