Gallery Talks
Talks free with museum admission. Schedules are subject to change. For daily schedules, consult the electronic signboard near the Admissions Desk.

 Gallery Guides
Distinguishable by a “Gallery Guide” badge, these arts professionals are available throughout the museum during all open hours to discuss the art on view, the Frank Lloyd Wright building, and the history of the Guggenheim.

 Mind's Eye
Join Guggenheim educators for a museum tour, discussion, and private reception on the following Mondays from 6–8 p.m. Programs for hard-of-hearing and deaf individuals presented in American Sign Language; programs for partially sighted and blind individuals presented through verbal imaging and touch. Programs run separately and simultaneously.

 The Elaine Terner Cooper Education Fund: Conversations with Contemporary Artists
In conjunction with The Hugo Boss Prize 2008, select finalists speak about their work and issues in the contemporary art world. A curator introduces the programs and receptions with the artists follow.

Durant explores the formation and interpretation of history in his projects, which often focus on power relations and moments of conflict within the United States.

 Patty Chang
Tue., Jun. 24 @ 6:30 p.m.
Chang's early performance pieces, which often tested the limits of endurance and taste, and her more recent video and photographic projects have focused on the conflation of the real and the imagined in various cultural contexts.

 Christoph Büchel

This Swiss artist is known for his interventionist and interactive works that disrupt the social or architectural flow.

 Emily Jacir

Spanning a diverse range of media, Jacir’s projects address various repressed historical narratives, resistance, political land divisions, the intertwining of socioeconomic structures, movement (both forced and voluntary), and the logic of the archive.

 Good Better Best: Perspectives on Connoisseurship
This high-profile series on creativity and judgment demystifies the thought process and perspectives employed by experts in modern and contemporary art. Now in its fifth season, art museum directors join curators, critics, collectors, and artists to share personal views of what makes a work of art good, better, or best.

Adult Education Courses
 Learning Photoshop through Art
This popular four-session course for adults, available on both Mac and PC platforms, provides an introduction to the tools and basic concepts of Adobe Photoshop CS3 through activities inspired by modern and contemporary art. The course is intended for Photoshop beginners.
